What you get

Top: bamboo-rayon top.
Closure: zipper all round.
Covers all six sides of the mattress or box spring.
Waterproof, as the maker states.
The maker says this cover was tested in a lab against bed bugs. That is the maker's claim, and we have not tested it.

How to use it

Measure the mattress from the bottom seam to the top, pillow-top included.
Zip the cover shut all round, and close the end of the zipper the way the maker shows.
Leave it on: bed bugs zipped inside die there in time.
Check the cover for holes and tears when you change the sheets.
Pair it with interceptor cups: a cover does not stop a bug from climbing onto the bed.

Will it fit?

Sizes: Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, California King. The maker cuts it for 9-15" deep mattresses.

Find the cover for your bed size and depth.

Bamboo rayon encasement with a top-edge zipper

The zipper here runs around the top edge of the cover, so you can lift it off and drop it in the wash without wrestling the whole mattress. The maker says the cover comes on or off in 60 seconds or less. Depth bands are 9 to 12 inches and 12 to 15 inches.

Your sheet rests on bamboo rayon, which the maker describes as breathable and silent, with waterproof protection sealing all six sides. Sizes run from Twin to California King, mostly in white, with one beige option in California King. The maker backs the cover with a lifetime warranty, so keep your order details with the bedding.

How to use the Slumberfy Bamboo Mattress Encasement follows the EPA and the University of Kentucky: zip it shut, leave it on for a year, and stand the bed legs in cups.

This is general information about keeping bed bugs out of a bed, not pest control or medical advice. A licensed pest professional, your doctor and the maker's own instructions come first.

What the public sources say

U.S. EPA, "Do-it-yourself Bed Bug Control". Says to set interceptors under each leg of infested furniture, move it a few inches off the walls with no linens touching the floor, check and clean the interceptors every week, keep inspecting at least every 7 days, and use covers that seal mattresses and box springs so bed bugs inside die. Read October 30, 2026.
University of Kentucky Entomology, ENTFACT-636 "Bed Bugs". Says bed bugs zipped inside an encasement eventually die, that an encasement does not stop a bug from climbing onto the bed, that a trap under each leg with the bed pulled off the wall makes the bed an island, and that a dryer at medium-to-high heat for 10 to 20 minutes kills all life stages.
