How we work
How we update prices and product facts
The figures on every card come from our catalog, and we update it on a schedule.
Prices
The catalog was last updated on October 30, 2026. We update every price on a schedule. When a product has no offer at an update, it leaves the shelves and comes back when it has one.
Prices change at our retail partner between updates. When the figure at checkout differs from ours, the checkout is right.
Sizes, depths and packs
Bed sizes, mattress depths, pack counts, tops and closures are read from the product data of each product page, one size and one pack at a time. When a maker prints no depth, the card says so instead of guessing.
What a maker claims about its own product (lab-tested, bite-proof, waterproof) is printed as the maker's claim. We have not tested any of it ourselves.
How-to on product pages
How a cup or a cover is used comes from the EPA, Texas A&M and the University of Kentucky, named in the sources block of each page. The guides link to every source.
Ratings
Star ratings and the number of ratings come from the latest update. When the same rating pool sits under two pages of one product, we count it once.
