Terry and bamboo on top, a membrane underneath
These covers put a soft layer on the sleeping side: cotton terry or a bamboo-rayon knit, with a waterproof membrane underneath. The sides and the bottom are a plain fabric, which is where the zipper runs.
Terry adds a little loft and absorbs a spill before it reaches the membrane. It also shows lint and wears a little faster in the wash than a plain knit.
