Sized for a King mattress 8 to 12 inches high, the cover measures 76 by 80 inches. Its side panels are stretch knit, so you can pull them down over the corners without fighting the fabric. A polyurethane membrane under the jersey-knit top makes your sleep surface waterproof.

The zipper uses the maker's BugLock with Secure Seal, which the maker says locks bed bugs in or out. Waterproofing covers the top only, which is where sweat and most spills land. Wash the cover in warm or hot water, tumble dry it on medium heat, and skip both bleach and dry cleaning.
